Miraflores – Costa Verde
In the Coast of Lima, it is located the “Parapuerto” of Miraflores, located on the cliffs of Miraflores district. This “Parapuerto” was conceived, designed and constructed specifically to make safe and easy the flight there. You can fint it at the Raimondi Park, beside the “Parque del Amor”.
The type of flight in Miraflores is “Dynamic”, it means that the paraglider pilots use the sea breeze that goes up along the cliff to stay flying.
Once we get good height and using the wind, we can fly along the Costa Verde, from the District of Chorrillos to the District of San Miguel (about 10 kilometers away). Miraflores is one of the most beautiful districts to fly over because of the tourist attractions as the “Parque de Amor”, Larcomar, Maria Reiche park, the “Rosa Nautica”. Also because of the high buildings in this district, as the Marriott Hotel, it is possible to achieve greater heights.
In this flying site, we do a lot of tandem flights with passengers and sports flights. The student pilots do their practices in this zone, once they have completed their full course. Many foreign pilots visit this flying spot, because it is well known in the world of paragliding.
- Location: Raimondi Park – Miraflores
- Type of flight: Dynamic
- Maximun height: 250 meters
- Best season to fly: from june to january
- Ways to arrive: Taxi, bus, walking
Pachacamac
The Mountains of Pachacamac are located 40 minutes from the city of Lima. The takeoff is located in the “Punta Blanca” mountain, about 5 kilometers from the town of Pachacamac. You can arrive to the landing spot in a normal car, but if you want to get to the takeoff by car, you need a 4×4 truck. Walking from landing spot to the takeoff takes only 20 minutes.
The type of flight is “Thermodynamic” which means that pilots uses both the wind and the thermals, warm air currents produced by the heating of the ground by solar radiation, to take up and fly long distances.
The takeoff has 200 meter high from the Valley of Pachacamac, the tops of the mountains have an average of 500 meters high and it is possible to reach heights of 300 meters above the summits.
The pilots who enjoy active flying, reach great heights and fly long distances prefer this flying zone. The most important peruvian paragliding championships are organized in Pachacamac. Hanggliding pilots flyes in Pachacamac too.
During the summer, we do Tandem flights with passengers in Pachacamac. Also our paragliding students do the most of their classes here. We also organize tours with foreigners pilots who visit Lima and want to know this flight area.
- Location: 5 kilometers from the town of Pachacamac – Lurin
- Type of flight: Thermodynamic
- Maximun height: 1000 meters

Pasamayo
Pasamayo dunes are located one hour and a half from the city of Lima. The takeoff is located at the kilometer 55 of the Panamericana Norte and can be reached by car. It’s a bit difficult to find the exact takeoff because the dunes are always changing and there are also many points of reference; however, it is possible to take off from any part of the slope.
The type of flight Pasamayo is “Dynamic”. Pilots used the sea breeze winds to gain height. The takeoff is 400 meters above sea level, almost all the time you fly over the sea . With good wind and some good luck can reach 1000 meters. It’s pretty easy to make “top landing” (landing on the same launch site), because there is plenty of land and the wind is very calm.
The slope is a giant dune 400 meters high and has 10 km of extension, but only the first 5 km are simple to fly. The following 5 km of slopes are not facing the wind, so it is very difficult to fly there.
The flight area is ideal for students because it is a great sand dune flabby forgiving many mistakes. During summer there is not wind (January to April), and the flights lasts only 10 minute; so that students can practice various flight techniques . The rest of the year you can find good wind to fly, but there are days when the fog does not allow to take off. When there is good wind and good visibility, it is a perfect area for practicing maneuvers and acrobatics, as you fly high above the sea.
- Location: Kilometer 55 of the Panamericana Norte
- Type of flight: dynamic
- Maximun height: 1000 meters
- Best season to fly: All year long
- Ways to arrive: Normal traction car
Cucuya – Lurín
In the district of Lurin, located 40 minutes from Lima, is our “School Slope” called Cucuya , sand dunes 30 meters high , which we used for the first classes of the paragliding course.
The type of flight in cucuya is basically of short 2 minutes flights; although sometimes with good wind, you can gain 50 meter high and stay in the air a little longer.
To reach the take-off you have to walk about 30 meters to the top. The difficulty is that the sand is quite flabby. The landing place is extremely wide, just have to be a little careful with some obstacles like a rock on the road, but they are quite rare.
This area is the best to learn to fly. Here we make our One Day Courses and the first classes of the Complete Paragliding Course. Even our students who have completed their full course, still go with us to this place to practice basic flying techniques and fly with more security. In Cucuya, you can fly all day long, every day. There is no fog and the wind never is too strong.

- Type of flight: Short and low altitude flights
- Maximun height: 50 meters
